BA (Hons) Acting Programme

Chris White

Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts is a world-renowned centre for actor training. Its graduates populate the performance industries and it is this commercial edge that makes the BA (Hons) Acting programme unique. It is one of the country’s leading vocational actors training courses, with an emphasis on professional development and employability.

We believe that acting is not just an art form but also a craft and our students leave the course equipped with the skills necessary to take up meaningful roles within the profession.

The three year BA (Hons) Acting programme is designed to encourage self-awareness as a ‘creative entrepreneur’ and our students are characterised by their imagination, flexibility and determination.

We also run a one year CertHE Introduction to Acting programme, designed to give students an introduction to actor’s training, begin to build the foundations of the key skills required for an actor and actor in training, as well as support and prepare students for Drama School auditions.

To apply for the BA (Hons) Programme, follow this link to UCAS and use the codes E28 (Institution) and W410 (Course); for the CertHE Programme, please use the codes E28 (Institution) and W411 (Course).

If you would like further information or have any questions about either of our courses, please get in touch and we will be happy to help.
