Having acquired the core skills associated with Stanislavski’s system, students are now asked to adapt these principles to the demands of non-naturalistic texts and forms as well as learning more advanced techniques in voice, movement and singing classes.
Typical projects might be:
• Commedia dell’ Arte, Restoration Comedy, Farce or Music Theatre
• Contemporary World Theatre
• Jacobean and Elizabethan Tragedy
Alongside these, students acquire associated practical skills such as armed and unarmed combat, mask work, tumbling, clowning, social dance and accent work.
In TV and Radio workshops students are introduced to the demands made by the camera and microphone.
