Amy Stevenson – Production Manager & Stage Manager
Amy studied Drama and Theatre studies at Royal Holloway University of London before going on to train in Technical Theatre and Stage Management at RADA. Here, whilst specialising in Stage Management she also learnt many skills such as lighting, set construction, costume making, prop making, scenic art and production management.
Amy started working at Italia Conti in 2013 as a Stage Manager, propping the productions and liaising with the directors the needs of the production. Since then she has moved further into her current role, overseeing the entire technical process from initial ideas meetings to opening night. As well as co-ordinating the productions, Amy takes regular workshops with the students on technical theatre and how a basic knowledge can develop them as professional actors.
Alongside her work at Italia Conti, Amy has worked as a freelance Stage Manager for Co-Opera Company, Such Stuff Productions and The CDET to name a few.
