Tamsin Stanley – Head of Studies
Tamsin studied at Cambridge University, and since graduating has worked within the arts in many capacities with credits in TV, radio, film and theatre as an actor, writer, choreographer, producer, stage manager, designer and event manager, both in the UK and abroad. Alongside her work at Italia Conti, she is currently the general manager of Stanley Hall Opera Festival, a founding producer with Such Stuff Productions, and an associate producer with LightHouse Theatre, 1215 Productions and Nonsuch History and Dance.
Her theatre writing and editing credits include material for Woman’s Hour, Anne Frank: Public Face, Private Child, various pantomimes and sketch shows, Flutter Echoes and The Significance of Feet. She usually has one too many writing projects in development for anyone’s comfort…
Previously General Manager of the Actors Centre, she has always maintained strong connections with the developing field of training actors. Her broader academic work includes guest lecturing in event management, providing special tuition in study skills, english, creative writing, history and creating curriculum resources for literature and theatre projects.
