Lawrence Evans – Director/Acting Tutor
Lawrence works as a director, movement director and actor. He was nominated for an Olivier Award for his choreographic work with Tony Harrison at the National Theatre and has worked with the poet and playwright on all his site-specific theatre pieces. He received a Best Actor Award from the Liverpool Echo and Daily Post Northwest Arts Awards and his co-written play Lives Worth Living is published by Heinemann. His directing work includes The Soldiers Tale by Stravinsky with the orchestra of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, and A Midsummer Nights Dream with the Irish Chamber Orchestra & Storytellers Theatre Company. His choreographic work includes the National Theatre and Bristol Old Vic. Lawrence works in many Drama Schools throughout the UK.
